Mere Green Business Village
Mere Green Business Village (MGBV) consists of 3 industrial units on a secure gated premises. It was formerly part of an agricultural holding. Local company MVZ Farm Supplies Ltd. acquired the site in 1994 and planning permission was obtained for what is now Unit 1. MVZ Farm Supplies operated as an agricultural merchant selling farm and associated supplies (pet food, horse food, hardware etc), and in 2007 was sold to Wynnstay Agricultural Supplies Ltd. who currently lease Unit 1.
In 1998 planning permission was obtained for Unit 2, and the unit was leased to Pallisers of Hereford Ltd. an agricultural machinery dealer who sold and serviced tractors, agricultural implements, lawn mowers and general farm and garden machinery. During 2007 planning permission was obtained to erect a new warehouse with offices on the site of a redundant barn. The resulting Unit 3 has planning permission for B1, B2 and B8 uses and is currently leased to Production Support Services Ltd.
UNIT 1: Showroom with offices and warehouse
This unit has an uninsulated warehouse with a heated display area and offices. Heating is by a Worcester Bosch oil-fired combi boiler and drainage is via a septic tank and water treatment plant.
